Newsletter - Christmas greetings from Christian, 2020

The end of the year is fast approaching. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to send you our last newsletter of the year.

2020 has been a different year, it must be said. Corona has had its impact, and I don't think any of us had imagined such a 2020 when we entered the year. Nevertheless, a lot has happened at Collectia this year. Specifically, we got new owners in March after four good years with Findos Investor, and today we are owned by the British private equity fund Silverfleet. In the slightly closer areas, we have, among other things, optimized our work processes, further developed our online platforms and welcomed many new colleagues - both in Denmark and in our foreign offices.

At Collectia, we are incredibly pleased with the trust that our clients continue to show us, and we look forward to a 2021 where hopefully there will be 100% control of Corona and the world will become a little more normal.

For 2021, we still have many exciting IT projects and further development of our artificial intelligence, CAI, as well as the roll-out of our own IT system in Sweden and Norway. Thus, Collectia will have the same platform in Scandinavia.

Finally, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas season and that you get well into the new year together with your loved ones.

With kind regards
Christian la Cour Valentin

New blog

At Collectia, we want to make debt collection easy and transparent for businesses. That's why we've created a new blog on our website. Here we regularly publish new content about debt collection, debtor management, finance and accounting.

We also share news from our growing organization and provide our own tips, advice and useful guides.

'Fresh' cases are more successful

It is no secret that our clients who send unpaid invoices for collection earlier than others are more successful in recovering their money. It is therefore important for businesses to establish and follow an effective reminder process. By being quick and consistent in your debtor follow-up, you can drastically minimize the number of unpaid invoices and late payments.

We recommend that you take action as soon as a customer has not paid their invoice. Therefore, send the first reminder or create your case in our system a few days after the due date of the invoice. This way, you will have a "fresh" case and it will be easier for us to recover your outstanding debt.

If your company is not registered, you can do so here.

Good experiences encourage payment

We take care of the good experience, even when your customer doesn't pay their bill. Our experience clearly shows that we can streamline the recovery of an outstanding debt by keeping the good customer experience in focus. This promotes payment and at the same time preserves the good relationship with the customer. That's why we work according to the following three pillars - secure payment, support and transparency.

Secure payment - It is important to us that our clients' customers feel secure in the payment of their debt. Therefore, we offer payment via the latest and most secure payment services - this ensures faster payments.

Support - Collectia's support department consists of experienced debt counselors who help and advise customers so that they can settle their debts while protecting the good customer relationship.

100% transparency - Just as we provide our clients with an online platform, we also do it for the paying party. The portal (MitCollectia) gives the customer a complete overview of their debt and the possibility to make a deposit, set up an installment plan or communicate with us.

WithCollectia
